The BBC1 programme The Big Questions is looking for audience members for Sunday’s debate titled “is immigration destroying British values?”
JCWI chief executive Habib Rahman has provisionally agreed to appear on the panel – weather permitting – which will be broadcast live at 10am when 1m people will be watching.
The programme is recorded in Bristol and the producers are still looking for members of the public who would like to join the discussion. With the election approaching fast it is essential that this debate is as balanced as possible.
The other panelists this week will be Peter Tatchell, the Church of England priest Joanna Jepson and Alison Ruoff, a member of the General Synod.
The Big Questions’ is BBC1’s flagship live moral and ethical debate show presented by Nicky Campbell. Each week, three topics are discussed on the show – these are ethical or moral questions connected to the week’s news headlines.
